McIntyres are once again supporting the pride of Perth St.Johnstone FC and following on from Danny Invincible and Fran Sandaza this seaason are delighted to be backing one of Saints star players in former Portsmouth, Luton Town, Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers Striker Rowan Vine.
The summer of 2012 saw Steve Lomas quick to sign up Gregory Tade and Nigel Hasselbaink but aware of the gap left by departed Fran Sandaza he remained keen to add a "big striker" to his options.
He turned his attention to Rowan, a 29 year old from England, and gave him the opportunity to show what he could do in the pre-season friendly against Bristol City and he duly obliged with two great finishes in a 2-1 win over Derek McInnes's side.
Rowan opened his competitive account with a spectacular winning goal in the match against champions Celtic at McDiarmid on 15th September 2012.
We wish him all the best for his time and Saints and we’ll be there every weeking giving him our support.
